Leadership in Sharia-Compliant Wealth Management
KFH's winning of the Best Islamic Wealth Management Bank in the Middle East and Best Islamic Wealth Management Bank in Kuwait awards reflects the Bank's success in developing its private banking and wealth management business and transforming it into a comprehensive advisory platform that integrates Sharia-compliant banking, financing, and investment solutions.
According to Euromoney, KFH restructured its private banking and wealth management operations under a unified framework and introduced a new operating model aimed at enhancing customer experience, strengthening investment capabilities, and delivering more advanced Islamic wealth management solutions. This transformation was supported by investments in specialized talent, technology, and the continuous development of KFH Capital, the Bank's investment arm.
The magazine noted that one of KFH's strategy key pillars is redesigning its customer relationship management model through a specialized advisory framework that brings together relationship managers, investment specialists, financing specialists, and account managers. This strategy enables customers to benefit from integrated expertise tailored to their banking, financing, and investment needs.
Euromoney also highlighted KFH's focus on human capital development, noting that private banking and wealth management teams completed advanced training programs with Moody's, obtained professional certifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), and participated in specialized advisory programs in Islamic wealth management.
On the investment services level, the magazine pointed to the launch of KFH's Global Discretionary Portfolio Management Service, which is based on the Bank's in-house investment outlook and asset allocation model. The service offers clients a diversified multi-asset investment approach through an open architecture of Sharia-compliant investment funds.
Digital innovation played a pivotal role in this success. Euromoney noted that KFH Capital implemented a new asset management system to unify the management of funds and investment portfolios, while also enhancing the KFH Wealth App, providing clients with more efficient access to their investments. The launch of the Allfunds Platform in Kuwait further expanded access to Sharia-compliant investment opportunities.
The magazine added that KFH achieved record profits in the private banking and wealth management sector, alongside notable growth in assets under management during the evaluation period, reinforcing its position as the benchmark for modern Islamic wealth management built on an advisory-led approach in Kuwait.

According to Euromoney, KFH implemented an integrated ESG framework across financing activities, operational processes, and community investment, contributing to measurable environmental efficiencies, broader access to essential services, and enhanced governance and institutional oversight.
The magazine noted that sustainability considerations have become an integral part of KFH's banking activities through increased investment in green and sustainability-linked sukuk, as well as the financing of national infrastructure projects, including wastewater treatment facilities that support water reuse and improve resource efficiency.
Euromoney also highlighted KFH's efforts to reduce energy consumption across its branch network by utilizing energy-efficient systems, upgrading cooling infrastructure, and introducing automated control systems that enhanced operational efficiency.
In this context, KFH completed several certified green buildings, including facilities awarded GSAS Gold and LEED Gold certifications, reflecting tangible improvements in energy and water efficiency and waste management, while supporting the adoption of sustainability standards within Kuwait's commercial real estate sector.
On the social front, Euromoney praised KFH's Creating Shared Value (CSV) platform, through which more than 200 community initiatives were implemented. These initiatives included allocating KD 8 million for the restoration of 17 buildings in Souq Al-Mubarakiya and dedicating KD 18 million to support a specialized cardiac care center.
The initiatives were further supported by over 3,000 volunteer hours, the distribution of more than 18,000 meals during Ramadan, and assistance to 1,680 families, contributing to healthcare support, preservation of national heritage, and strengthening essential community services.
The magazine also noted that KFH maintained robust governance standards through direct Board-level oversight, comprehensive emissions measurement, and the integration of sustainability considerations into credit evaluation processes, ensuring alignment between sustainability objectives, risk management, and capital allocation decisions.
