Kuwait Finance House (KFH) recently took part in the fifth Baiti Expo for construction. The event was sponsored by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare and held under the patronage of Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdul Latif Hamed Al-Mishari. The Baiti Expo, held over four days at the Arena Kuwait in 360 Mall, is recognized as Kuwait's largest construction industry event. KFH Deputy General Manager of Products, Nehal Al-Musallam revealed that the bank provides a range of distinctive and varied financing options. These include a housing finance product for purchasing, building, or renovating properties, offering up to KD 70,000 with a repayment period of up to 15 years. Additionally, KFH grants customers a grace period of up to 12 months for the initial installment to help reduce financial strain.
She stated that KFH, working with a curated group of local suppliers, provides exclusive offers, including promotions and discounts on top-tier, modern construction equipment. These deals aim to attract investors and other stakeholders, aligning with the ongoing expansion of the nation's real estate and construction industries.
Innovative financing solutions
Al-Musallam highlighted that KFH provides diverse financing options, such as Financing against Cash Collaterals, a commercial financing product for retail customers. This option is backed by a lien on the customer’s deposit, which remains intact, enabling the customer to keep earning profits from it. Customers can apply for this financing via KFHonline.
KFH also introduces Kuwait's pioneering "Financing Against Gold Account Collateral" product, enabling customers to secure financing using their gold bullion as collateral. This innovative solution allows customers to leverage the value of their gold without selling it, offering a unique financing option that enhances customer experience and meets their financial needs.
Al-Musallam explained that KFH provides a deferral option, enabling customers to skip one installment annually. This service allows them to choose a different month to defer each year during the financing term, depending on their individual requirements.
