Talent Development
At KFH`s pavilion during the career fairs, Al-Khamis mentioned that a dedicated team from KFH`s HR department presented available job opportunities at the bank. The team also answered students` inquiries and informed them about the bank`s operations, its various departments, and the banking sector`s role in developing and refining young talents` skills. Furthermore, KFH team highlighted the Bank`s efforts to support and encourage these talents to enter diverse economic sectors within the job market.
Al-Khamis explained that the career fairs at the universities hosted major local companies from the private and government sectors. These companies are known for their valuable contributions in providing job and training opportunities for young Kuwaiti graduates entering the labor market. The event saw a significant turnout from various groups, including recent and experienced Ktech College students, as well as senior students seeking job or training prospects.
Job Interviews
KFH, through its acquisition team, conducted training workshops at the College of Business Administration, Kuwait University, for over 60 senior students to prepare them for future job interviews.
According to Al-Khamis, students participating in the workshops benefited from a realistic CV preparation simulation and formal interviews conducted by KFH professionals. To further assist them, a visual presentation highlighting common errors in their submitted job applications was created to prevent these mistakes in future formal interview settings.
Recognizing the value of hands-on experience, KFH is eager to offer workshops and practical application opportunities in diverse areas. These will greatly enhance students` comprehension of theoretical knowledge.
