Kuwait Finance House (KFH) announced the conclusion of 2022-2023 Business Leadership Excellence program, designed at the KFH Group level for high performing leaders (HIPOs). The program is part of KFH staff`s leadership development journey to achieve the utmost in their potential and capabilities.
The Business Leadership Excellence program was co-created with Headspring, the joint venture between IE Business School and the Financial Times, the most distinguished institutions globally.
The program commenced in Kuwait in November 2022 and ended in Spain – Madrid in February 2023 with the participation of 21 employees from KFH Group, where they were welcomed in IE University campus.
It also included coaching and virtual lab sessions focused on main leadership topics, goal-setting strategy, innovation, change and self-leadership to further develop the skills and behaviors of KFH leaders, enhance their knowledge and professional conduct to help them make a positive impact and provide them with the necessary skills to support their teams and improve productivity, performance and enhance harmony. In addition, a Transformational Challenge was introduced which focused on having the leaders collaborate in teams to strategize and achieve the challenge objective.
KFH Executive Manager Talent Management, Mohammed Al-Musalam, congratulated KFH’s HIPOs on this milestone and expressed his pride to have them as part of KFH Future Leaders.
In a press statement during the program closing ceremony in Madrid, Al-Musalam added that the participants demonstrated the ambition to learn and the motivation to achieve best results stemming from their desire to adhere to KFH’s vision and objectives.
Al-Musalam stressed that empowering talents at KFH boosts their performance and dedication to work, and thus is reflected on KFH's position as a world leading Islamic financial institution.
Further, he urged the participants to apply all the concepts included in the program to advance their leadership behavior based on the practices introduced in the program, which will reflect positively on their leadership efficiency.
Al-Musalam went on to emphasize the importance of continuing the learning and training journey to support KFH’s talents that are capable of innovating and maintaining excellence and leadership at all levels.
Al-Musalam pointed out that the environment which KFH offers to its employees in terms of learning and development solidifies KFH’s position as the best work destination for professional development. He affirmed that efforts will be continuing to invest in talents, develop their skills and raise their competencies according to international standards, and create an updated distinctive educational experience in partnership with global universities and institutions such as INSEAD, IE Business School and Harvard.
