Kuwait Finance House (KFH) launched the "KFH Reciters" competition for reciting the Holy Quran during the Holly month of Ramadan, for “Baiti” and "Hesabi" customer segments. The competition is held virtually in line with the current health protocols.
Manager Social Media and PR Services Center at KFH, Abdullah Abdullatif Al-Saif, said that the first competition of its kind encourages the current generation to recite the Holy Quran with clarification of some provisions of intonation, especially since there are several episodes that will be broadcasted live on the KFHGroup Instagram channel to test some of the participants in the competition.
Al-Saif added: KFH was keen to coordinate with specialized committees to implement evaluation standards with transparency and with high professionalism, in addition to allocating KD 8,000 for winners from the children and youth segment under 25 years, according to the terms and conditions.
Al-Saif explained that customers can register directly through the KFH website, and they will be contacted directly to set their test dates, noting that seats are limited, and priority of registration will be approved according first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, KFH's social media channels are ready to answer any inquiries related to registration and participation in the competition.
He stated that KFH's interest in the competition and allocating the largest value of prizes at the local level to the winners expresses his belief in the importance of Holly Quran and instilling its value in the hearts of generations, with an emphasis on the need for this encouragement to also be done by parents with the participation of their children in this distinguished competition.
Al-Saif concluded: KFH Ramadan activities during this year target all segments of customers. There will also be a focus on the youth segment through some events that mix between the sports and the social side. Some events will also be organized to encourage small business owners, most of whom are youth.
