Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the 40th engineering design exhibition organized by the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University, with the official support of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences in Sabah Al-Salem University City in Al-Shadadiya, under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah. This consolidates a strategic partnership that extends between the bank and the university, stressing KFH's keenness to develop the capabilities of Kuwaiti youth and creativity among graduates and scholars, support the educational process and its various institutions, and sponsor scientific activities and events, in a way that contributes to community development and economic growth.
KFH affirms that its participation and annual support for the exhibition expresses its commitment to the community with all its segments and aspirations within a comprehensive integrated strategy for social responsibility and sustainability towards contributing to the development of the community sectors and its main pillars. This includes education, health, youth, sports, where the educational system comes at the top of the priorities, in collaboration with various academic and scientific institutions concerned with education and its development, including academic institutions, student unions, youth projects and initiatives to achieve sustainable development.
KFH recently participated in the orientation meeting for students of the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University. KFH sponsors 50 graduate projects from various disciplines, as well as more than 100 projects sponsored by the bank annually, involving about 400 students. The extended partnership between the two sides has been for more than 10 years. KFH has been the supporter and sponsor of hundreds of projects and thousands of students, stressing its strategic orientation for its interest in the youth segment, students and scholars, and its keenness to encourage all initiatives and scientific innovations for Kuwaiti youth in general and the students of engineering and petroleum in particular, as it is one of the most important colleges that graduates qualified students, to work in the most important sectors of the economy in the country. KFH has confidence in the capabilities of Kuwaiti youth, whose projects mostly contribute to finding innovative solutions and ideas that confront challenges, work environment, areas related to community and environmental issues, and other various activities that would contribute to construction and development.
