Kuwait Finance House (KFH) ranked first on Forbes Middle East magazine local list regarding the ratings of platinum and golden credit cards in the local market, as part of the magazine’s latest issue concerning the best 73 credit cards. KFH’s platinum card ranked first in Kuwait and fourth over the Middle East, while KFH’s golden card ranked first in Kuwait and fifth over the Middle East. KFH’s classic cards were ranked second and third locally and over the Middle East respectively.
It is worth noting that KFH is considered to be the best known source for unique prepaid cards, such as Al-Kheir and Al-Osra cards locally. The magazine mentioned that those ratings come as part of its efforts to guide Arabian consumers and assisting them to be aware of the actual cost of credit cards. It went on to say that those ratings were based on clear methodology, where it compared the regulations of the 73 credit cards issued by 25 banks.
Meanwhile, KFH’s AGM for Banking Sector Mohammed Al-Fozan stressed that those ratings cement KFH’s leadership, and highlights the fact that it has extensive banking experience in the sector of credit cards. He added that KFH has always been keen to offer highest quality of service in the field of products and services, especially credit cards, in order to be the preferred choice for clients. He noted that KFH is eager to use the most advanced and safest banking technology in the field of electronic payments, which is evident by the fact that KFH was the first bank to use smart cards and managed to install chip card system in all its cards; thus resulting in KFH’s acquisition of an effective market share in the field of cards. He remarked that the continuous progress that KFH makes in that field goes hand in hand with the global trend to become a non-monetary economy.
KFH had begun its promotion campaign that ends at the end of March, to encourage issuance and usage of KFH’s ATM, credit and prepaid cards, where each month 10 clients would be awarded prizes with a maximum value of KD 20,000 through using their cards in Kuwait and overseas.
