The Dean of Administrative Studies College Dr. Rashed Al-Ajmy stressed the importance of cooperation between Kuwait University, including all its various colleges and the private sector, since this cooperation will be fruitful and beneficial for developing Kuwait. Moreover, he added during honoring Kuwait Finance House (KFH) for equipping an office for serving Islamic economy students, that Administrative Studies College, which was selected as one of the best colleges in the world, is considering teaching Islamic Finance as a platform for establishing a unit or section for teaching Islamic economy.
New Vision for Youths
The International Investment Department Manager at KFH Emad Al-Menaie, praised in a speech before the college students and professors, the graduates of the Administrative Studies College in Kuwait University. It is noticed in the private sector institutions, especially KFH, that is highly demanded by graduates to work for. This shows the great awareness of the importance of working in the private sector, not only for new graduates seeking a career, but also for young men in the 15-18 age group, who master the highly effective modern technology products that narrowed the gap and provided all information by pressing a key on the computer. It also broadened their horizons and changed their approach in reaching what they desire in the future. In other words, the new internet generation knows that an easy job will never make a bright future.
Strong and Trust-worthy
Al-Menaie tackled the philosophy that the work is built upon at KFH since its founding, which is using effective methods and honesty. Thus, values and the human factor are the most prominent in the philosophy of work at KFH, which is the platform that launches the Islamic financial culture, not only while performing duties during office hours, but also after he leave the office. Such values are embedded in the employee's character.
In addition to that, Al-Menaie discussed KFH's external expansion, which is rendered a continuous operation for establishing Islamic financial industry that covers most of the world. He stressed that many advanced countries ask KFH to operate and exist on their land. They are aware that KFH's presence in any market exceeds searching for sporadic investment opportunities, to being deeply rooted in this market. These countries are not after cloning KFH's experience, but they seek spreading its philosophy of constructing land, which is a genuine Islamic principle. They are also aware that KFH's care for values goes hand in hand with its care for the human factor. These are the two most important pillars that support an establishment that is fully aware of its role as not only a leading bank in the banking industry that is three decades old, but as an establishment that bore the responsibility of being scrutinized by others from the beginning.
Geography, the natural body of Earth
He mentioned that the external expansion that aims to achieving globalization is a strategy for KFH. The locations are carefully selected, since geography is a vital factor, KFH has accomplished all its goals and added value to all the markets it entered.
