Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has launched the “Education Leaders Challenge” in strategic partnership with the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), attracting broad participation from more than 100 school leaders, teachers, and administrators from both public and private schools. The initiative reflects KFH’s leading role in supporting education and innovation, while promoting a culture of digital transformation and technology adoption within the education sector.

The Executive Manager Corporate Relations and CSR at KFH, Faisal Alsurayye, stated that the launch of this initiative stems from the Bank’s belief in the importance of investing in education as the cornerstone of building a sustainable future. He emphasized that supporting educational institutions and empowering educators with technological and innovative tools constitute a key pillar of KFH’s social responsibility and sustainability strategy.

Alsurayye added: “At KFH, we are proud of our partnership with the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in launching this distinguished challenge, which brings together educators, school leaders, curriculum teams, and student life specialists in an interactive environment aimed at exchanging expertise and developing innovative ideas that keep pace with the requirements of the digital era. We firmly believe that advancing education begins with empowering educational talents and providing them with opportunities to explore and effectively utilize modern technological solutions within the learning environment.”

He noted that the rapid developments in technology, AI, and programming highlight the need to strengthen digital capabilities across all components of the educational ecosystem. He explained that the Bank is committed to supporting high-impact initiatives that contribute to preparing generations capable of innovation, competitiveness, and future leadership.

Alsurayye further affirmed that the strong turnout for the initiative, with the participation of more than 100 educational and administrative professionals, reflects the growing awareness of the importance of innovation in advancing the educational process. It also underscores the need for more programs that foster collaboration among all stakeholders in the education sector and open new horizons for knowledge and experience sharing.

Furthermore, Alsurayye extended his appreciation to the organizers and team of WRO-Kuwait for their outstanding efforts in organizing and delivering the event successfully, commending their role in promoting the culture of robotics, programming, and innovation. He noted that such efforts positively contribute to enhancing educational outcomes and strengthening the readiness of educational institutions to meet future requirements.
