Kuwait Finance House (KFH) is seeing growing demand and strong customer engagement with its WhatsApp banking services. The channel improves the overall customer experience by offering simple, secure and convenient digital banking anytime, anywhere.
The service is the first of its kind in the Kuwaiti banking sector and was developed in partnership with Infobip, a leading global provider of cloud communications and interactive services.
KFH customers can complete a wide range of banking transactions quickly and securely through an intuitive interactive interface, without visiting a branch or calling the Contact Center. This makes banking more convenient and better aligned with today’s digital lifestyle.
Services available via WhatsApp include transfers between personal accounts, payment of credit and prepaid card balances, account balance inquiries, and generation of six-month account statements. Customers can also retrieve their IBAN after authenticating through the Kuwait Mobile ID app, apply for financing, find the nearest branch, and connect directly with a customer service representative.
The services are available 24/7 and meet the highest security standards to protect data confidentiality and transaction safety.
To use the service, customers should install WhatsApp and save KFH’s number (1803333) in their contacts. Once saved, they can start using the service immediately.
The initiative reinforces KFH’s position in digital banking and forms part of its broader digital transformation. It delivers secure, reliable banking through one of the most widely used social media platforms.
It also strengthens KFH’s digital ecosystem, which includes the KFHonline app, KFH Go smart branches, ATMs, phone banking, and digital payment solutions such as WAMD, KFH PAY and Western Union transfers.
KFH continues to lead digital transformation in the banking sector through advanced infrastructure and integrated platforms that provide a secure, seamless 24/7 banking experience. This is reflected in the more than 600 million digital banking transactions customers completed across the Bank’s channels in 2025, underscoring both customer trust and operational efficiency.
KFH remains a pioneer in innovative digital banking, having introduced several market-first solutions including instant card printing, fully digital account opening, virtual cards, online gold trading, and seamless local and international transfers, alongside specialized applications for retail and corporate customers.
