Reaffirming its commitment to nurturing national talent and empowering Kuwaiti youth, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the 5th edition of the "Watheefti 2026" career fair. Held at The Arena – Grand Hyatt Kuwait, the event took place under the patronage and in the presence of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma.
KFH’s participation underscores its pivotal role in supporting Kuwaiti youth by opening broader career horizons in banking and the wider financial market. The Bank actively seeks to recruit top-tier graduates and seasoned professionals, aligning with its strategy to invest in national human capital.
Meanwhile, this participation holds particular significance given KFH's stellar 83% Kuwaitization rate across its workforce. This achievement reflects the Bank’s steadfast dedication to fostering an engaging, inspiring work environment that accelerates the professional growth and leadership potential of national talent.
During the three-day event, a specialized team from KFH’s Human Resources was on-site to connect directly with job seekers and graduates. HR team answered inquiries regarding available career pathways, introduced applicants to KFH's corporate culture and competitive benefits, and highlighted tailored training programs designed to qualify local talent.
Furthermore, the HR team guided candidates through the recruitment process and entry requirements, helping them identify banking roles that best match their qualifications and long-term career aspirations.
The career fair brought together a select group of Kuwait's leading public and private entities to empower youth, foster professional growth, and highlight high-potential career opportunities.
The goals of Watheefti 2026 career fair align with KFH’s strategy to foster a private-sector career culture and inspire young talent to embrace the sector's vital role in driving sustainable economic development, in step with national goals and future aspirations.
In collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), the career fair also aims to encourage young Kuwaitis to explore private-sector opportunities. By highlighting competitive advantages, career progression paths, and dispelling common misconceptions around job security, the initiative works to increase national participation across key economic sectors.
The event featured over 120 companies across 14 vital sectors, offering a comprehensive lineup of networking sessions, direct job interviews, and skill-building workshops, all aimed at equipping Kuwaiti youth with the practical and professional skills required to excel in today’s modern workplace.
