Al-Marzouq said KFH's strong performance through the end of Q3 2026 demonstrates the success of its strategy and its ability to deliver sustainable, balanced growth. It also reflects improved operational efficiency and optimal use of resources and assets, strengthening the Bank's financial position and its standing in the banking sector.
He added that the continued strong results highlight the resilience of KFH's business model and its agility in responding to economic and geopolitical changes, alongside efficient risk management and adherence to the highest standards of governance. The results, he noted, reflect a clear strategic approach built on responsible growth and maximizing value for shareholders and customers.
Building Sustainable Value
Al-Marzouq explained that the Group's strategy takes a long-term view, aiming to build sustainable value, strengthen the Bank's competitiveness, and sustain its growth momentum. The Group is pursuing this through investing in business and service development, accelerating digital transformation, improving operational efficiency, and developing human capital.
He affirmed that KFH will keep executing its strategic plans with confidence, drawing on its strong financial position, diversified business, and accumulated expertise. It will maintain its responsible approach to growth and reinforce its role in supporting the national economy, further strengthening the trust that shareholders, customers, and the wider community place in the Bank.
Improving Business Environment
Al-Marzouq noted that positive developments in Kuwait's business environment, together with supportive legislative and regulatory measures for economic and financial activity, are key enablers helping the private sector and financial institutions grow and contribute to economic development. These measures include the Real Estate Financing Law and the Sukuk Law, preceded by the law permitting borrowing from the Future Generations Fund and the Financing and Liquidity Law.
He highlighted the importance of the Sukuk Law, which introduces a Sharia-compliant sovereign financing instrument, broadens the local and international investor base, and paves the way for an Islamic sovereign yield curve that will support future issuances by corporations and financial institutions.
Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility
Al-Marzouq reaffirmed KFH's commitment to supporting national initiatives and projects of strategic impact, strengthening cooperation between state institutions and the private sector, serving the national interest, and advancing sustainable development in Kuwait. He cited several strategic national and community initiatives, including KFH's $13 million contribution to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, and an additional $6 million contribution to repair damaged power stations.
He noted that KFH's community work has earned prestigious international recognition: Global Finance named the Bank World's Best Islamic Bank for CSR 2026, in recognition of its exceptional efforts, clear impact, and leadership in social responsibility across the markets where it operates.
