Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Group announced its participation in the 2026 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group through a high-level delegation representing the Group. The meetings are scheduled to take place from 12 to 18 October 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the attendance of finance ministers, central bank governors, banking leaders, and financial decision-makers from around the world.
The KFH delegation participating in the meetings will include, the Chairman, Hamad Abdulmohsen Al Marzouq, Group Chief Executive Officer, Khaled Yousif Alshamlan, Deputy Group CEO Treasury and Financial Institutions, David O'Loan, Chief Treasury Officer Kuwait, Ahmad Al-Sumait, KFH Capital Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah Al-Haddad, and Head of KFH Group Public Relations and Media, Yousef Al-Ruwaieh.
This participation reinforces KFH’s international presence and underscores its leading position on both the regional and global stage as a world-leading Islamic banking group. KFH operates in 10 countries worldwide, most notably Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and Germany, supported by an extensive network of more than 600 branches. KFH Group’s delegation is expected to participate in a series of meetings attended by finance ministers, central bank governors, and senior executives of major financial institutions from across the globe to discuss ways to enhance growth prospects, while addressing a range of issues related to economic development and the advancement of the financial and banking sectors.
KFH will also participate in the Gulf-Asia Economic Forum through a session entitled “Banking, Investment and Digital Infrastructure,” featuring a distinguished group of officials and representatives from investment and technology institutions across the GCC countries and Asia.
