As part of Kuwait Finance House (KFH)’s social responsibility and under the umbrella of the Strategic Partners Initiative, KFH participated in the ceremony held in Al-Hamra Tower to honor KFH’s strategic partner and the World Jet Ski Champion, Mohammed Burbayea for his third win as the Guinness World Record Holder.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammed Al-Rajhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas, President of Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah and the representative of Guinness World Records.

In his speech at the ceremony, KFH’s Group DGM, Public Relations and Media, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh highlighted the ongoing efforts of KFH to support young Kuwaiti talents to succeed in reaching high ranks of international competitions in different areas of sports, social and cultural activities.

Strategic Partners program

He added “We are pleased to participate in the honoring ceremony of world champion, Mohammed Burbayea, who is one of the major members of the Strategic Partners program exclusively launched by KFH. Being a Guinness World Record holder for the third time is a win for this program, and a major value to Burbayea’s achievements.

In this regard, Al-Ruwaieh expressed KFH’s honor at Burbayea’s win, adding that it is a global achievement for Kuwait.

The world champion has won 25 gold medals during his 14 years of participation in the World Championship of International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA), with the sponsorship of KFH.

Al-Ruwaieh expressed his gratitude to the organizers, indicating KFH prides itself on supporting many of Kuwait’s distinguished achievers and champions to secure the highest standards of success. He confirmed that the unwavering support is part of the Bank’s social responsibility and its efforts to promote the capabilities of the society which help enhance Kuwait’s standing in all areas.

(You are our Pride) Platform

Al-Ruwaieh said that KFH is the first bank in Kuwait to launch the platform (You Are Our Pride) to honor distinguished people in various fields, stating that Kuwaiti talents succeeded in reaping big awards under this initiative in worldwide competitions.

Youth and Sports

Moreover, Al-Ruwaieh underlined KFH’s continuous efforts in youth and sports as part of its sustainability plan. The Bank has succeeded in launching qualitative initiatives that embodied KFH’s strategy and leadership in social responsibility and sustainability. In addition, the Bank has succeeded in bringing social initiatives to a new level of innovation utilizing technology and other modern applications in collaboration with the creative Kuwaiti youth as well as sponsoring many sports initiatives under the (Better Health, Better Life) theme. This confirms KFH’s keenness to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Burbayea

Under the long-term strategic partnership, Burbayea thanked KFH for the sponsorship and constant care, adding that the KFH’s support contributed to his latest achievement.

It is worth noting that Mohammed Burbayea began his water sports journey in 2006 in Kuwait Sea Club. In 2007, he participated in the World Championship held in Arizona for the first time, where he won first place from 2007 to 2021 with a total number of 25 medals.
