Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has won “Best Use of Payments in a Programme” award for Baitak Rewards program from 2022 Incentive Awards (IA22) during a special ceremony held in London and attended by banks and companies from around the world.
Baitak Rewards Program was nominated for the “Best Use of Payments in a Programme” category in which the judging panel’s assessment included many fundamental criteria such as quality and efficiency of service provided to customers.
KFH launched Baitak Rewards last December with the aim of encouraging the use of KFH’s credit and prepaid cards inside and outside Kuwait. It is a permanent free program which enables customers, when using their credit, or prepaid cards – Hesabi tier- in shopping, to avail points on every purchasing transaction starting from K.D 1. The points may be used later to make other purchases from the shops participating in the program. The earned points are registered, converted, and used for purchasing through an application downloaded on mobiles, or Baitak Rewards program webpage.
Executive Manager Credit and Charge Card Products, Talal AlArbeed expressed pride at having Baitak Rewards nominated for the award in its first year, confirming its success and customers’ satisfaction with the benefits provided by the program.
AlArbeed noted that the program is developing and the rapid growth in the number of distinguished global trademark companies joining it and offering their products and services to customers, with the resulting increase in the number of customers using Baitak Rewards exceeding 100 thousand members by mid-year.
He affirmed that KFH is continuing its endeavors to develop the program by including/joining/adding a distinctive group of global companies, saying that this is within a strategy that will make Baitak Rewards a preferred program to customers.
AlArbeed explained that there are three different card categories with Baitak Rewards program. Each category contains exclusive offers the customer may avail. Categories include black and silver cards.
Cardholders of both categories may earn points through local and international shops by using all points of sale and e-marketing. Also, they may transfer KFH points to any other member in the program. Green card holders may earn points through shops participating in Baitak Rewards program only. KFH total points are added automatically within 48 hours after each purchase transaction which is qualified to earn points, provided that the customer is not a participant in any other promotional program for the cards.
AlArbeed added that Baitak Rewards program is the outcome of several changes introduced to KFH cards including shape, services, and advantages to encourage customers to further use the cards and benefit from the advantages, namely security and easy usage. Cards have become a global language and a secured method in financial transactions, especially during travel.
He emphasized KFH’s keenness to offer unique financial products, services, and payment solutions that add value to the customer and enhance KFH’s standing in banking cards and services in general.
