Al-Roshood Discusses Importance of Digital Transformation in Adapting to Challenges
KFH participates in "Investing in Kuwait" conference organized by KDIPA
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) is participating in the virtual conference, under the title "Investing in Kuwait – Capitalizing on Transformation".
The conference brings together a group of financial and business leaders, representatives and experts from the public and private sectors.
The conference will be launched on the ninth of this month, organized by the " Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority" (KDIPA), the Financial Times Live and the FDI magazine. This digital dialogue is the third in a series of briefing events being held in London, Silicon Valley and online.
During his participation in the seminar entitled "Investing in Kuwait’s Future", the Acting Group CEO of KFH, AbdulWahab Al-Roshood, addresses different topics such as: the speed of adaptation of the financial sector to respond to the challenges posed by the Coronavirus crisis, investment in digital transformation, and the importance of digitalization in creating opportunities for companies in the financial technology sector.
Al-Roshood also reviews the importance of digital transformation in the banking sector, and the role of FinTech in enhancing the efficiency of services and performance, adding value to the banking business, customers and investors.
Moreover, Al-Roshood highlights the role of “KFH” in contributing to supporting the development plan and Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to transform Kuwait into a global financial and commercial center. He will underline the importance of Islamic finance in creating opportunities for the Kuwaiti economy, in addition to important economic issues highlighting the importance of the private sector's role in economic development.
KFH’s participation in the conference comes with the aim of promoting digital transformation and stimulating the business environment to strengthen Kuwait’s position as a digital center in the region, and to emphasize the role of foreign direct investment.
The conference will discuss various topics and themes, such as: focusing on a "New Kuwait", the role of technology and telecom sector in a post-Corona Virus work environment, the opportunities that await small and medium-sized companies, and other themes that focus on investing in Kuwait and benefiting from digital transformation.
