Kuwait Finance House (KFH) financed Haj for 10 poor people through Al-Kheir prepaid card, where 0.5% of the purchases made by the card will help those in need to go to Haj. This service is offered in collaboration with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
The card has the characteristic of credit cards, where it can be used in Kuwait and overseas, in addition to all KFH ATM machines. The prepaid card does not require the bank to review the client’s credit status and is neither related to the client’s salary nor his bank account. Clients over 21 years old can use the card as they wish, as long as there is money in it.
Moreover, the card allows the poor to go to Haj without paying any expenses, which allows clients to be involved in this form of charity through using the card.
