Account Opening:

1.    The account can be opened for individuals only.
2.    The account is available only in Kuwaiti Dinar.
3.    The original civil ID should be presented at account opening stage.

Draw Terms & Conditions:

1. Minimum period to hold a balance to be eligible for a draw is 15 days.
2. When the balance is held for 15 days before the draw date, you get one chance for every KD 50.
3. When the balance is held for 90 days before the draw date, you get two chances for every KD 50.
4. When the balance is held for 180 days before the draw date, you get three chances for every KD 50.
5. Clients’ funds in AI-Hassad Saving Investment Account shall be invested in full on the basis of Wakala investment.
6. Profit is calculated on the basis of the average balance of funds invested for the period and distributed every fiscal year.
7. The investment is made on the basis of Wakala contract, the whole balance shall be invested at a profit rate of (0.1%).
8. Prizes granted under AI-Hassad Prize Program are from the Bank funds and not from depositors’ funds.
9. The Bank Fatwa and Shari’ah board has approved the prizes program for the investment accounts.
10. All prizes will only be credited to the Client’s account maintained with the Bank.
11. The cash prize amount will be deposited into the Client’s account within two weeks of announcing the winners.
12.  You get a maximum of 30,000 thousand chances in a draw.
13. There will be no monthly draws during the month that coincides with a semi-annual or annual Draw.
14. There will be no semi-annual draw during the month that coincides with a annual Draw.
15. Banking accounts draws are held on the first Tuesday of every month at Kuwait Finance House in Kuwait based on the draw schedule. In an event of an official holiday, rescheduled draw date will be announced
16. The Bank reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions, the frequency of draws (including eligibility criteria), prizes and the prize structure and the inclusion of the Bank’s affiliates and subsidiaries in the prize draws, at its absolute discretion any time with prior notice to Clients through any means of communication as decided appropriate by the Bank.
17. Promotional draws related to banking accounts are covered live through available social media tools.
18. KFH complies with Central Bank of Kuwait regulations concerning promotional draws related to banking accounts.
19. The customer hereby irrevocably and unconditionally agrees to participate in any photoshoot sessions, press release and/or interview (“Promotional Content”) that may be coordinated by the Bank if he is announced as one of the winners in the draws campaigns organized by the bank and he hereby gives free of charge and worldwide permission for the Bank to publicly use the Promotional Content for marketing purposes. It is understood that the failure of the customer to observe its obligation under this clause may result in canceling and/or withdrawing the prize subject to the discretion of the Bank.
20. Customer chances are calculated based on the account balance prior to the completion of the daily system update, in accordance with the rules approved by Kuwait Finance House.
21. Participation in draws is prohibited for KFH employees, employees of companies contracting with the bank, and any other persons involved in the promotion or any activity related to draws and prizes. This also prevents their spouses and relatives up to the second degree, or any other person or entity that has been excluded according to the regulations of the Ministry of Commerce. The winner is obligated in the event of violating this prohibition to return the prize immediately to KFH. The bank has the right to deduct the prize amount from the winner’s account (s) without obtaining his approval.
22. KFH commits to excluding winners from the bank draw campaigns as follows:

     -If the prize value is less than KD 50,000, the winner will be excluded for 90 days from the draw date.

     -If the prize value is KD 50,000 or more, the winner will be excluded for 365 days from the draw date.

     -If the winner receives accumulated prizes totaling KD 50,000 or more, the winner will be excluded for 365 days from the date of the last win, without being tied to any specific time frame for calculating the total prize amount.
