Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the 49th Engineering Design Exhibition at Kuwait University. Organized by the College of Engineering and Petroleum, the two-day event was held under the patronage of Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and Acting Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investments, Dr. Sabeeh Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem.
Kuwait University honored KFH in recognition of its leading role in supporting students and developing their skills and sponsoring their graduation projects. Receiving this honor on behalf of the Bank, Executive Manager Corporate Relations and CSR at KFH, Faisal Alsurayye, said that the Bank’s participation as a strategic partner in the Engineering Design Exhibition for many years, is part of its keenness to support students, education and youth, promote engineering creativity among students and graduates, and encourage scientific initiatives that contribute to achieving development across various fields.
He noted that KFH is the main and largest supporter of graduation projects at the College of Engineering and Petroleum, providing support to approximately 300 students each year.
Alsurayye added that KFH has dedicated the annual Sustainability Award, which is granted to the wining projects of the first and second places focusing on environment and sustainability.
He affirmed that through its strategic partnership with the College of Engineering and Petroleum, KFH contributes to creating a thriving academic environment for nurturing young minds, empowering them to grow, and enabling them to contribute to Kuwait’s development through their projects.
Vice President for Academic Support Services at Kuwait University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutawa, praised KFH’s keenness to support the college’s various activities and outstanding students. Meanwhile, students behind the graduation projects commended KFH for its sponsorship of their projects, expressing their appreciation for the Bank’s prominent role in social responsibility.
