Kuwait Finance House (KFH) participated in the closing ceremony of the national campaign, "This Is Your Role," which aims to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and the greening of Kuwait.

During the ceremony, KFH was honored in recognition of its leadership in social responsibility and prominent role in supporting environmental initiatives and promoting volunteerism culture as a key pillar of sustainable development.

KFH Executive Manager Social Media and PR Services Center, Abdullah Al-Saif, received the award on behalf of the Bank, in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Education, Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Homoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Acting Governor of Hawally, Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. They commended KFH’s role and commitment toward community development, environment preservation and its major contributions to sustainability and social responsibility.

On this occasion, KFH Executive Manager Social Media and PR Services Center, Abdullah Al-Saif, stated that the Bank’s participation in this national initiative, which ran from 2 November to 3 December, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs among a wide participation from public and private entities in addition to volunteering teams, reflects KFH’s commitment to supporting national initiatives. It also highlights its keenness to strengthen efforts to protect the environment and promote awareness among all segments of society.

He emphasized that KFH’s involvement in community and environmental initiatives serves as a model for the private sector's role in supporting and driving activities that positively impact society.

He also noted the strong response from the KFH volunteer team and employees to the "This is Your Role" initiative, highlighting their efforts in cleaning beaches and waste areas, alongside rehabilitating and greening various locations across all Kuwaiti governorates.

Al-Saif explained that these efforts fall under “Keep It Green” initiative, an umbrella program dedicated to environmental protection and engaging youth in cleaning and beautifying facilities through field and awareness activities across all governorates.

It serves to note that KFH actively reinforces its role in fostering public-private sector partnerships to support environmental preservation and sustainability. The bank achieves this by backing initiatives and programs specifically designed to protect Kuwait's environment and boost general environmental awareness.
