|
|
Your
security is our top priority
|
|
|
|
|
|
We secure our system

ensure that your personal and financial information is safeguarded against unauthorized access.
Between our server and your PC, all transmitted information is
encrypted, and thus unreadable by intruders.
This security is made possible
through a secure 128-bit SSL session, once you login with your
KFHOnline account.
However, your KFHOnline
login name and password is in
your possession, and we want to make sure that you keep it secret, just as
you would protect your house keys, car switch, or wallet to prevent theft.

Handle
Your Password Wisely |
|
Choose a strong password that is hard to
guess and never share it with anyone.
It is essential that nobody steals your password through trickery
or physical access to your personal computer:
- Create a
long, memorable password. Mix it with numbers
and/or symbols. For example: "Kha&Oth26"
- Be careful
which computer you use. A stranger's PC might be
setup to steal passwords. Change your password frequently if
you use public computers.
- Do not use
the same password that you are using for email or other services.
Your KFHOnline password should be unique because it is the key to
your banking resources.
- Keep your PC
in a safe place. Very important is that you do not
allow anyone to tamper with your machine.

Be
Careful What You Download and Open |
|
The
internet contains numerous viruses and hidden programs that may open
unsolicited access to your PC and allow hackers to observe anything you
do. This
is the major world wide cause of online password theft. Do not open non-trusted
executable files to avoid possible infection by programs known as Trojan
Horses:
- Executable
files are regular programs or screen savers, but may contain hidden
viruses or remote access Trojans. Think twice
before you open a file of any of the following types: EXE, SCR, BAT, COM,
PIF, SHS, ZIP, DOC. You can view the type of file in the
properties window (right click).
- Do
not accept files from chat programs, strange emails, or suspicious
web pages. Some internet users try to fool other
people into accepting dangerous files.
- If
you have to open a file from a non-trusted source (executable or
hidden type), scan the file before you open it. After
opening, observe if anything suspicious happens such as error
messages or any unusual activity.

|
Use
a Personal Firewall |
|
Personal firewalls are
valuable tools to prevent unauthorized access to your PC. A firewall
will detect and allow you to block connection attempts as you find
appropriate.
So, use them to fight against worm attacks (internet viruses), backdoor
programs (hidden remote access), or Spyware (hidden commercial
programs). Here are some firewall vendors:

Regularly
scan your PC and update your anti-virus |
|
Anti-virus is only effective of you scan your PC regularly and update the virus definitions; otherwise,
malicious, hidden programs may not be detected. Although
anti-virus products do not detect all emerging viruses, it does detect
and remove the majority of them, especially if the virus definition is
updated frequently. Here are some anti-virus vendors:
