Correspondent
IID is responsible for
managing the existing correspondent banking arrangements and
developing relationships with local and overseas banking institutions.
It also administers Nostro and Vostro accounts on an interest free
basis that is mutually beneficial for the participating banks in order
to facilitate settlements between them.
IID maintains close links
with a number of major international banks throughout the world. This
helps speedup fund transfers for clients and to deliver an efficient
service.
Correspondent banking
activities are gaining increasing significance with the Bank’s
expanding relationships with the international financial community. In
return, the strength of the Correspondent Banking activities amply
support KFH’s cross border expansion strategy and its forward entry
into the international capital markets.
