Saving Account

Account Benefits:

  • An account for saving and investment in line with Islamic Sharia principles, where profit is credited to the account annually.
  • Ability to withdraw up to KD 2000 per day from any ATM machine.
  • Ability to get Visa/ MasterCard (As per KFH credit terms and conditions).
  • Ability to benefit from International Calling Service by calling 180 3000 (Charges to be debited from your account).

Eligibility:

  • It can be opened in KD and other foreign currencies.
  • The account holder’s age should be above 21 years. The account opening is subject to an approval from the Branch Manager or his deputy while considering the necessity of opening this account.
  • The original Civil ID should be presented when opening the account.
  • The minimum amount to open the saving account is KD 100, or US$ 1000 or Pound Sterling 500 or its equivalent in other currency.
  • Ability to open non personal account for establishments, companies, and Islamic charity organizations, public associations, co-ops and sport clubs, student unions in Kuwait and abroad.

  • Establishments: establishment license, the commercial registration certificate, a letter from the Public Authority for Civil Information showing the Civil ID number of the establishment, the original Civil ID of the authorized signatory.
  • Companies: Article of association, commercial registration certificate, a letter from the Public Authority for Civil Information showing the Civil ID Number of the company, the original Civil ID of the authorized signatory as per the article of association or its amendments.
  • Islamic charity organizations and committees: Article of association, a letter from the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs approving the opening of account and also stating the authorized person(s) who will operate the account, a letter from the Public Authority for Civil Information showing the Civil ID Number of the charity /committee, the original Civil ID of the authorized signatory, approval from the Legal Department of Kuwait Finance House.
  • Public associations, co-ops and sport clubs: Article of association, a letter from the Public Authority for Civil Information showing the Civil ID Number of the public associations, co-ops or sport clubs, the original Civil ID of the authorized signatory.
  • Student unions in Kuwait and abroad: Article of association, a letter from the Ministry of Education or Kuwait University stating the authorized person(s) who will operate the account, a letter from the Public Authority for Civil Information showing the Civil ID Number of the student union in Kuwait, the Civil ID of the authorized signatory.
