How to Deal with the Mechanic:

When you choose a certain garage, it’s better to tell the mechanic about the problem of your car in details. No need to tell him about your own judgement. The following illustrations are helpful examples:

Tell what has actually happened to your car. Don’t say the break isn’t OK; but rather specify the brake problem. Does the car errant to the right or the left; does the brake make any sounds during driving?

  • Does this problem occur in all times, or just in rainy time?
  • How long have you encountered this problem?
  • Does it start today? Does it occur all the time? Does it come and go?

To choose the proper garage, it is very important to choose a specialized one. The price should not be the only important factor in your choice.

Listen carefully to the mechanic’s remarks and his opinion about the problem of your car. Make sure the mechanic has a good knowledge of the problem before commencing maintenance.

Make a list of your preferred garages in order to deal with them permanently. You don’t have to move frequently from one garage to the other; because this might not be good for the car, nor for your time.

Try to buy the spare parts yourself from a source you trust to avoid doubts if the same problem in your car appeared once again.

Try to deal with the car’s problem as soon as it is noticed. If you postpone doing the required repair on time; it might cause other damage in the car
