KFH-Turkey offers banking, financing services to Kuwaiti individuals, investors
KFH-Turkey CEO Ufuk Iwan said that the bank is ready to offer Kuwaitis and other clients in Turkey the best services possible during the summer season, where the bank will be present at areas heavily visited by Kuwaitis during the summer holidays. He added that the bank’s clients can take advantage of individual banking services, such as withdrawing cash from their accounts in Kuwait through KFH ATM machines found in over 186 branches in Turkey. He went on to say that there will be some Kuwaiti employees in the bank’s branches in Istanbul and Ankara, in order to assist KFH clients in receiving the required service.
Moreover, Iwan mentioned that the bank is also ready to serve investors and business men, since the bank is aware of the Turkish market and its developments; especially investors seeking to invest in Turkey for the first time. He noted that the bank follows a strategy based on linking Kuwait and other GCC countries to Turkey and other neighboring countries through a network of economic, commercial, and investment relationships.
Furthermore, he stated that Turkey witnesses a significant economy growth and high touristic season, since it has the necessary manpower and financial abilities to take advantage of this economy growth in various fields. He revealed that KFH-Turkey is willing to assist those who wish to take advantage of the positive developments in the Turkish market; especially that Turkey is heavily visited by Kuwaitis and other GCC citizens.
Iwan said that the bank believes that having legislations that allow Kuwaitis and other GCC citizens to own real estate in Turkey, especially touristic real estate, opens the doors for taking advantage of the real estate experience that the bank has in Turkey and Kuwait. In addition, the process of organizing the issuance of Sukuk that was approved by the Turkish parliament will assist in providing the necessary financing required by Turkish and GCC companies that seek to expand their fields of business, whether in Turkey or overseas.
